On 24 July 2004 at 19.09 hours, 109 Senior Members of the Sangha were invited to recite the Buddhist Chants – with Phra Buddhaphot Waraphorn, Deputy-Somdet, Abbot of Wat Chedi Luang, as Chair together with several Senior Members of Sangha of Chiang Mai Province which included Phra Dhamme Sithachaan (Nu Dhawaro) Wat Phra Singh; Phra Thep Visudhikhun (Koson Kanthawaro ) - Provincial Chief Administrator of Sangha for Chiang Mai Province, Wat Bupparam ; Phra Raj Wimonmethi (Sangwaan Bhrompunyo) - Regional Chief Administrator of Sangha – Region7, Wat Sri Soda; Phra Amorn-Wethi (Waana Kemachari) - City Chief Administrator of Sangha for Chiang Mai City.

The Great Buddhapisek Ceremony was performed in full complete Lanna Buddhist Ceremony and was carried out throughout the night until the next morning. Before the Great Ceremony was to begin a heavy rain poured on to temple grounds, but as Great Buddhapisek Ceremony began the heavy rain just stopped as seen by many laity who came to Wat Ou Sai Kham.
